How payment works
- 1Pay a 50% depositFor online bookings and new patients. This holds your appointment, and your preferred payment method is saved securely for future payments.
- 2The rest is due the day beforeOne business day before your appointment, we'll process the rest of the fee using your saved payment method. If you don't have one saved, we'll be in touch to take payment.
- 3Medicare pays you backAfter your appointment, your rebate goes straight into the bank account linked to your Medicare. You don't need to do anything.
Join our Priority List
New patient appointments open up to six weeks in advance and often book out. Join the list and we'll be in touch when a cancellation comes up or new appointments are released. You can also join if you've booked but would like to be seen sooner.

Script or referral no consult
For repeat prescriptions or referrals when a consultation isn't needed. For patients who've had a review in the last 9 months and have their next one booked.

If you've had an eligible in-person consultation in the last 12 months, your doctor may instead offer a short bulk billed phone consultation. If your care needs reviewing or changing, a consultation may be needed.

Our doctors have long waitlists, so notice lets us offer your time to someone on the Priority List.
Medicare rebates can't be claimed on cancellation or missed appointment fees.

Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with any of our specialist GPs.
Can I see a doctor by telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth is available for all new and existing patients, Australia-wide.
Will I get a Medicare rebate?
Yes, if you have an eligible Medicare card. All our appointments, in person and by telehealth, are eligible for a rebate. If you don't have Medicare, the full fee applies. Call us if you're unsure.
Do you bulk bill?
No. We're a private billing practice and our doctors set their own fees. You pay the full fee upfront, and your Medicare rebate is paid into the bank account linked to your Medicare. If cost is a barrier and you live near Ballina, you may be eligible for our funded Healthy Midlife Program. The Healthy Hormones app is free for everyone.
Do I need a blood test before my appointment?
No. Perimenopause is diagnosed from your symptoms, and most hormone levels swing too much at this stage to be useful. Your doctor will order any tests you need during your appointment, mainly to rule out other conditions, and can often start treatment without waiting for bloods.
If you'd prefer to have bloods done beforehand, your usual GP can arrange them. Please send us a copy of the results before your appointment. Your Remi doctor may also arrange further tests if needed.
