Dr Emma Harvey

BMedSci, BMBS, FRACGP

Emma is a Specialist GP, Menopause Doctor, and founder of Remi Menopause Clinic. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2009 and has worked in General Practice since 2012. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Australasian Menopause Society.

Her passion for menopause medicine was shaped by seeing her own mother struggle to access the right care. That experience highlighted how limited standard medical training in this area can be and led Emma to pursue further education and develop a special interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.

Emma offers holistic, personalised care, helping women feel informed, supported, and confident in their health decisions during this significant life stage. She is experienced in managing more complex menopause presentations, including MCAS and histamine-related issues, progesterone sensitivity and women with a history of cancer.

She also has a strong interest in metabolic and preventative health, and is passionate about helping women optimise their long-term wellbeing. Emma takes a practical, evidence-based approach and is a strong advocate for real-food nutrition, including supporting women who choose a lower carb, keto, or carnivore lifestyle.

Emma is also the co-founder of the free Healthy Hormones app and online community, offering education and support for both health professionals and women navigating peri/menopause. She was one of the organisers of the So Hot Right Now menopause event at the Sydney Opera House in 2025. She is actively involved in menopause research and passionate about raising awareness, improving education for health professionals, and ensuring that menopause care is accessible and affordable for all Australians.

Outside of work, she loves spending mornings at the beach with her husband and three children. She makes sure to stay active every day, whether it’s surfing, cycling, walking local headlands, or lifting weights at the gym.
