Dr Emma Harvey

BMedSci, BMBS, FRACGP

Emma is a Specialist GP, Menopause Doctor, and the founder of Remi Menopause Clinic. She graduated from the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2009 and has been working in General Practice since 2012. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and member of the Australasian Menopause Society.

Emma’s passion for menopause medicine was sparked by seeing her own mum’s struggles with accessing the right care. This experience made her realise how limited her own training had been in this area, leading her to pursue further education and specialise in supporting women through midlife and menopause.

She offers holistic, personalised peri/menopause care, empowering women to make informed choices during this important transition. She helps women of all ages take control of their hormonal health and also has a keen interest in metabolic and preventative health. She’s a strong advocate for a real-food approach to nutrition and also supports women embracing a lower carb, keto or carnivore lifestyle.

Emma is also the co-founder of the free Healthy Hormones app and online community, offering education and support for both health professionals and women navigating peri/menopause. She was one of the organisers of the So Hot Right Now menopause event at the Sydney Opera House and Medical Conference in March 2025.

Emma is actively involved in menopause research and passionate about raising awareness, improving education for health professionals, and ensuring that menopause care is accessible and affordable for all Australians born with ovaries.

Outside of work, she loves spending the morning at the beach with her husband and three children. She makes sure to stay active every day, whether it’s surfing, cycling, walking local headlands, or lifting weights at the gym.
