Dr Cherie Castaing

BMBS, FRACGP

Cherie is a specialist GP and menapause doctor with over 20 years experience providing personalised care in women’s health. A graduate Otago University (NZ) in 1994, she promptly relocated to NSW and gained a diploma in Obstetric and Gynaecology whilst training in Gosford Hospital.

She is an experienced GP Specialist with Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners(2002), and has completed further menopause training with Jean Hailes and Newson Health.

As a member of the Australian Menopause Society, Cherie combines expertise with authenticity, ensuring women feel heard, supported and confident in their health decisions. Her breadth of experience over the life span and in mental health, has taught her to take a collaborative approach to optimise womens healthcare.

Outside work, Cherie has raised three children and can be found at pilates or volunteering at her local surf club. She’s a member of Doctors for the Environment.
